Happy New Year!!
Updated: Feb 20, 2021
A new year is upon us, and I know I haven't posted in a while, so I just wanted to take this opportunity and share a few ideas I am working on for the coming year. My main effort will be with growing the community on this site, I believe I have written enough to show which direction I would like the community to move in, so for me now it is about engaging people and getting them interested in what we have to offer.
My other large goal is to begin a video series (on Youtube) to delve into what I see as some of the more intimidating subjects within the field of Linguistics for new learners. My intent is also to make a specific a video series to compliment the Ossetian lessons I have been developing. Ossetian will be my language-specific focus (what can I say, sometimes a language just grabs you). I also plan on writing about V.I. Abaev, and Konstantin Khetagkaty.
This site is not about simply one language, or just my interests, it is about our shared interests, so there is plenty of room for other languages to be explored, and I hope that this year we will see other language communities take shape as well.
I understand that we are still in the middle of a global pandemic, and I appreciate that we all have our own lives on top of that, so I want to thank you guys for sticking around and sharing this forum with me. As always, if there are things you want to see on the site, let me know! This is your space as much as it is mine, so I welcome your input.
